Upgrading to After Effects CC 2015.3 automatically uninstalls previous versions of After Effects. However, Preferences and settings from previous versions are migrated when updating to After Effects CC 2015.3.

Adobe Media Encoder CC 2015.3 v10.4.0 for Mac Adobe Media Encoder CC software automates the process of creating multiple encoded versions of source files, Adobe Premiere Pro sequences, and Adobe After Effects compositions.
You can choose to retain older versions of After Effects. To do so, follow the steps below:
- In Creative Cloud desktop application, click Update next to After Effects CC 2015.3.
- On the You're updating to After Effects CC (2015.3) dialog, select Advanced Options.
- Disable Remove Old Versions setting.

Adobe’s single user license allows installation of a single product license on two machines (such as one work machine and one home machine) provided the software is used by the same individual and not concurrently on both machines.
Note: If you want to install the product on a third computer, you must first deactivate the software on one computer. To deactivate, choose Help > Deactivate.
Adobe Product installers install fonts into a default system font directory. If the installer finds older versions of these fonts in the default system font directory, it will uninstall the older versions, and save them to a new directory.
